By mderienzoMore than 500 people ran in the first Northwest Connecticut YMCA WYLD Mud Run 5K at John Minetto State Park in Torrington on Saturday. Runners were put through an obstacle course of challenges that included running through mud, carrying buckets of water and scaling walls. The event was a fundraiser for the YMCA.
