MEGAN RUONAVAARA Rocky Hill senior, pitcher Stats: Went 17-1, struck out 157 and had an ERA of 0.49. At the plate, she hit .493 with 38 RBIs and 13 extra-base hits. Led Terriers to Class M state title. Finished career at 63-9 with 575 strikeouts, hit .443 with 80 RBIs. Honors: Four-time All-CCC and two-time coaches all-state selection. Off the field: Ranked fourth in graduating class, National Honor Society, class vice president, yearbook editor. Led Terriers to Class M volleyball title. Will play softball at Stonehill.

KELLI CONNORS Waterford senior, pitcher Stats: Went 20-2, struck out 154 batters and an ERA of 0.88. Batted .374 with 19 RBIs. Led team to fourth straight ECC title. Finished career with a 69-5 record and two state championships. Honors: All-ECC and coaches all-state selection, Gatorade and CHSCA state player of year. Two-time team MVP. Off the field: Will play at Florida Southern.

FRANK LEVICK Rockville Stats: Led Rams to a 22-2 mark, the Class L state title and the No. 2 ranking in the final Register Top 10 Poll. The third-year coach is 55-12.

TATUM BUCKLEY Masuk sophomore, pitcher Stats: Went 20-5, struck out 251 batters in 161 innings, tossed 13 shutouts and had three no-hitters, including one perfect game. Batted .403 with eight doubles, five home runs and two triples, 27 runs and 20 RBIs. Led team to Class LL semifinals. Honors: All-SWC and coaches all-state selection. Off the field: Generating interest from several Division I schools.

LAUREN ESPOSITO Coginchaug senior, first base/pitcher Stats: Batted .537 with 49 runs, 21 RBIs, 23 stolen bases and an on-base percentage of .600. Went 7-1 with one save, an ERA of 0.53 and 107 strikeouts in 66 innings. Led team to Shoreline Conference and Class S titles. Honors: All-Shoreline and coaches all-state selection, MVP of state championship game, Shoreline Conference player of year. Off the field: Led basketball team to Class S title in the winter. Will play softball at Stonehill College.

JACQUI FERRAIOLO Amity senior, outfield Stats: Batted .378 with 10 doubles, four home runs, two triples, 28 runs, 18 RBIs. Led team to Class LL title and appearance in SCC tournament championship. Honors: All-SCC selection, academic all-state, Amity scholar athlete of year. Off the field: Will play at Northeastern University.

JESS HARKNESS Foran sophomore, pitcher Stats: Went 23-2 and led Lions to SCC championship and appearance in Class L title game. Struck out 269 batters in 186 innings, ERA of 0.87. Honors: All-SCC and coaches all-state selection.

KAITLYN LAJOIE Rockville junior, pitcher Stats: Went 22-2 with a 0.76 ERA to lead Rams to Class L state championship. Allowed just three earned runs, three walks and struck out 37 in four state tournament games. During the regular season, Lajoie struck out 15 in a win over Waterford and tossed a one-hitter and struck out 18 in a victory over Tolland. Also batted .590. Honors: Coaches all-state, All-CCC and CCC all-academic selection.

BRITT LAMPERT Shelton senior, outfield Stats: Hit .549 with three home runs, 34 runs, 20 RBIs, 40 stolen bases, a slugging percentage of .775 and an on-base percentage of .593. Honors: All-SCC and coaches all-state selection. Off the field: Will play at Concordia.

ALLISON MACARI Westhill senior, pitcher Stats: Went 18-4 with a 0.75 ERA, eight shutouts, 176 strikeouts in 145 innings. Did not commit an error. Batted .519 with five doubles, four triples, two home runs and 41 RBIs. Honors: Coaches all-state and All-FCIAC selection, MSG Varsity player of the year. Off the field: Will play at Ithaca.

MELISSA NELSON Law senior, shortstop Stats: Batted .489 with 28 RBIs, 24 runs and committed just one error. School record for career hits (129) and single-season leader in hits (44). Honors: All SCC and coaches all-state selection. Off the field: Will play at Springfield.

KATIE PETROSKI Seymour sophomore, infield Stats: Batted .505 with 11 home runs, 10 doubles, seven triples, 45 runs, 55 RBIs and 13 stolen bases. Led Wildcats to NVL title and the Class M semifinals. Honors: Coaches all-state and All-NVL selection, Honor Roll. Off the field: Was an All-Area selection in indoor track.

MARIEL SCHLAEFER Lauralton Hall senior, catcher Stats: Batted .466 with five doubles, five home runs, two triples, 22 runs, 22 RBIs, a slugging percentage of .879 and an on-base percentage of .516. Honors: Two-time coaches all-state and All-SWC selection. Off the field: Will play at Colgate.
