MARIA BLOIS Cheshire senior Stats: Midfielder led the Rams with 65 goals and 38 assists. Scored four goals in 9-8 loss to Greenwich in the CIAC Class L championship game and had three goals and three assists in the RamsŐ win over Guilford in the SCC tournament final. Honors: Two-time first team All-SCC, all-state, All-Area, honorable mention All-American, All-American and Academic All-American in field hockey, Register All-Area MVP in field hockey. Off the field: Also played basketball and will play lacrosse at Quinnipiac.

DAN WARBURTON Cheshire Stats: Led the Rams to the SCC regular-season title, SCC tournament championship over Guilford and runner-up in Class L to Greenwich. In 11 years he has a 161-57-3 record and coached in his 200th game this season. Firsts for the Rams included best single-season record (20-3), most consecutive wins (16), most goals in a season (328), first state championship game and first back-to-back SCC tournament titles. Honors: 2004 New Haven Register Coach of the Year, 2011 CIAC Class L Coach of the Year. Off the field: Warburton has taught in the Applied Technology department at Cheshire the last 12 years and he directs the Connecticut Choice Youth Girls Lacrosse Camp each summer.

ALYSSA HAGUE Cheshire senior Stats: Midfielder finished with 43 goals and 10 assists. When Guilford took an 8-7 lead in the SCC tournament championship game, Hague scored three straight goals to give the Rams the lead for good at 10-8. She also scored the game-winning goal in the SCC final as a junior. Also strong on defense and in the transition game. Honors: Selected first team All-SCC, all-state, two-time All-Area selection. Off the field:Ę Also plays field hockey. Will play lacrosse at Union College.

AVERY GIORGIO Hamden Hall junior Stats: Midfielder had 65 goals and 21 assists. She has 124 career goals. Honors: Selected a New England Prep School WomenŐs Lacrosse Association All-Star, recipient of the James W. Griffin Scholarship Award presented to a junior for excellence in academics and athletics; selected for the Hamden Hall All-Around Student Award for the second straight year for balancing athletics, academics and community service. Off the field: An honor roll student, member of the Diversity Committee and Amnesty International, a PEER leader and a youth swim coach. The Madison resident has already committed to play lacrosse in college at Holy Cross.

EMMY DULAK North Branford junior Stats: She had 89 goals, 37 assists , 52 ground balls and 14 interceptions to lead the Thunderbirds to 9-8 record. Honors: First team All-Shoreline Conference, all-state. Off the field: Member of the National Honor Society and she also plays soccer.

Haddam-Killingworth sophomore Stats: As a midfielder she excelled in several phases of the game, scoring 76 goals, adding 14 assists and winning 74 draw controls. For her career she has 134 goals and 55 assists. She scored a single-game school record nine goals in a win over North Branford. Honors: First team All-Shoreline Conference and all-state and a Shoreline Conference Scholar Athlete. Off the field: Also plays field hockey and basketball.

ALLISON CAREY Lauralton Hall junior Stats: The attack and midfield player ended up with 80 goals and 14 assists. She led the Crusaders to one of their best seasons at 10-5. Honors: Selected first team All-South-West Conference, second team all-state, a member of the Super Juniors team. Off the field: A member of the honor roll. She also plays volleyball and is a youth lacrosse referee.

LEIGH ROONEY Guilford senior Stats: She led the Indians to a 14-6 record thanks to her speed on offense that produced 75 goals and 26 assists. She also had 73 ground balls. Honors: First team All-SCC, all-state and was an All-Area selection in field hockey. Off the field: Member of the National Honor Society and will attend the University of Vermont.

ALEXIS SANSONE Cheshire senior Stats: Moved from the midfield to defense this past season. She marked the opposing teamŐs top attacker each game and routinely blocked shots and made interceptions. Honors: Selected first team All-SCC, all-state and selected for the Senior All-Star team. Off the field: Also plays field hockey and competes in indoor track. Contributed to the schoolŐs television station. Will play lacrosse at Hofstra.

RILEY SMITH Guilford junior Stats: Midfielder led the Indians with 83 goals and also had 27 assists, 16 interceptions and 60 ground balls. She had six goals in a loss to Cheshire in the SCC tournament championship game. Honors: Selected first team All-SCC and all-state and also was All-Area in field hockey. Selected for the Super Junior All-Star team. Off the field: She has already committed to play lacrosse at Fairfield.

KRYSTINA REYNOLDS Hamden Hall junior Stats: The Wallingford resident had 62 goals and 26 assists. She has 123 career goals. She also scored three goals in the New England Prep School WomenŐs Lacrosse Association All-Star game. Honors: A New England Prep School WomenŐs Lacrosse Association All-Star. Off the field: Also plays soccer and basketball. An honor roll student, member of the Diversity Committee and Amnesty International, U.S. Soccer referee and volunteers at the Wallingford Homeless Shelter.

KATHLEEN KALBIAN Cheshire junior Stats: Midfielder ended up with 49 goals and 26 assists. She has also developed into one of the best face-off specialists in the state. Honors: First team All-SCC, all-state, All-Area selection cross country (2009-11) and indoor track (2011). Selected a lacrosse captain for next season. Off the field: Member of the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society and English National Honor Society.

NICOLE CASASANTA Sacred Heart Academy senior Stats: The midfielder led the Pacers to an 8-9-1 record with a single-season school record 80 goals along with 14 assists. She scored seven goals in a game three times last season. She had 64 goals as a junior and ended up with 195 career goals. Honors: Selected first team All-SCC, Academic All-SCC and was a captain for the Pacers the last two seasons. Off the field: She is a 4.0 scholar, vice president of the National Honor Society, member of the Science National Honor Society and a PEER Connection member. She will attend George Washington University.

CHRISTY FORREST Hand senior Stats: Developed into one of the top goalies in the state and posted a .605 save-percentage and 7.70 goals-against average this season. She also had 20 interceptions. Honors: A three-time All-Area selection, three-time All-SCC and all-state selection. A U.S. Lacrosse All-American as a senior and honorable mention All-American as a junior. Selected for both the Super Junior and Super Senior All-Star teams. Off the field: She will play lacrosse at Amherst College.

KARA MCHUGH Hand senior Stats: MidfielderŐs speed and aggressive play on offense combined to help her lead the Tigers with 75 points (67 goals, eight assists). The Tigers were 9-11 overall but 8-2 against SCC competition. Honors: First team All-SCC and all-state the last two seasons. She was selected a CHSCA Senior All-Star. Off the field: She also plays soccer and basketball. She will play lacrosse at Marist College.

RACHEL PASSARELLI Hopkins senior Stats: One of the top midfielders in the Fairchester Athletic Association, she set single-season school records for goals (95), assists (42), career goals (245) and career assists (96). Honors: She is a three-time New England Prep School WomenŐs Lacrosse Association All-Star. She was a five-year varsity team lacrosse player (made the varsity team as an eighth grader) and also was All-Area in field hockey. She was a captain of the field hockey, girlsŐ basketball and girlsŐ lacrosse teams. Off the field: The Hamden resident will play lacrosse at Amherst College.
