RYAN CUPPERNULL Cheshire senior, outside hitter Stats: Made 290 kills, 76 digs, 32 aces, 31 assists and 24 blocks. Honors: All-SCC and coaches all-state selection, CHSCA Player of the Year. Off the court: Will attend the University of Texas.

SUE BAVONE Cheshire Stats: Led Rams to a 23-0 record, the SCC tournament title and the Class L state championship. Guided the senior class to a 75-16 record, including 45-0 the last two seasons, four SCC regular-season titles, three SCC tournament titles and two Class L titles.

MATT WARD Cheshire senior, middle blocker Stats: Made 113 kills and 67 blocks. Led team to SCC and Class L titles. Honors: All-SCC and all-academic team selection. Off the court: Will attend Sacred Heart.

NATE HOWARD Cheshire senior, right-side hitter Stats: Made 268 kills, 54 blocks and 37 aces. Led team to SCC and Class L titles. Finished career with a school-record 1,029 kills. Honors: Three-time All-SCC and two-time coaches all-state selection. Was also an All-SCC pick in basketball. Off the court: Will play basketball at Keene State.

RAYMOND BRUMLEVE Cheshire senior, setter Stats: Made 790 assists and 31 aces. Finished career with a school-record 2,135 assists. Honors: All-SCC and coaches all-state selection, All-SCC academic team.Ę Off the court: Also ran cross country. Will attend Quinnipiac University.

TYLER SWEIGARD Cheshire senior, libero Stats: Two-year starter made 103 digs, including 18 in Class L state championship victory over Ridgefield.Ę Honors: MVP of state championship, team outstanding defensive player award. Off the court: Also plays soccer. Will attend UConn.

ELIOTT DEMELIER Amity senior, setter Stats: Made 445 assists, 35 blocks, 33 digs and had a 95 percent serving percentage. Finished career with over 1,200 assists. Honors: Second team all-SCC selection, two-year captain, four-year varsity player.

MATTHEW LASANCE Hand junior, setter/outside hitter Stats: Made 38 aces, 325 assists, 72 kills and 68 blocks. Honors: All-SCC selection, member of junior Olympic team. Off the court: Manager of the basketball and girlsŐ volleyball teams.

GREG WOODS Xavier senior, outside hitter Stats: Had 405 kills, 171 digs, 33 aces and 23 blocks. Honors: All-SCC and coaches all-state selection. Off the court: Member of concert band and cultural diversity club. Headed to Springfield College.
