AP — NEW YORK — Police say more than 60 people have been arrested as Occupy Wall Street protesters march in small groups around Manhattan’s financial district to mark the anniversary of the grass-roots movement.
Police also removed four protesters in wheelchairs after they blocked a busy street Monday.
Loud chanting and the sound of drums filled the air. The demonstrators clogged traffic, and dozens of police officers and vans lined the streets.
Around 7,000 ran in the 37th Annual Faxon Law New Haven Road Race despite humid conditions on 9/1/2014.
